In his Hamburg-based atelier in the district of St. Pauli, Maurice Schilling creates unique collectible artworks and paintings. Driven by intuition and present emotion, his mid to large scale artworks range from abstraction and combined graphical references to neo-expressionism with figurative elements.

His compositions are hardly guided by preconceived ideas, they are discovered and elaborated in the course of execution. Characterized by an extraordinary level of detail they span from understated monochrome palettes to vibrant and expressive visual narratives.
